In more detail about anodizing process


The most reliable way of protection of aluminum and its alloys from corrosion is anodizing. In comparison with other ways of coverings when anodizing the problem of subfilm corrosion and peeling of a covering is excluded. Besides protective properties, the aluminum products which passed anodizing gain excellent decorative qualities.

In recent years in the world keen interest in products and constructions from the anodized aluminum shape is observed. Thanks to the properties and attractive appearance, the anodized profile found broad application both in construction and architectural constructions, and in various interior decisions.

Standard technological process consists of the following main operations:
1. deoiling;
2. etching process;
3. clearing;
4. anodizing;
5. compacting.

Within technological process preliminary machining of the aluminum shape which allows to smooth considerably characteristic defects of pressing (a strip, risks, scratches, etc.) is made and to receive the most uniform opaque surface.
Depending on desirable quality of a surface of the ready aluminum profile, the surface can be processed or brushes from stainless steel (grinding), or Rotoblast  fraction stream PROCESSING. In the first case it is possible to reach effect of the "combed" surface, in the second case the surface becomes more opaque and uniform.
When processing in a bathtub of degreasing oils, fats and superficial pollution of the aluminum shape are eliminated. When processing in an etching bathtub from a surface of a profile aluminum oxide is removed under natural influence of environment, small attritions, the centers of an initial stage of corrosion therefore there is an optical alignment of a surface are pitted.
After etching all surface slimes are removed in a clarification bathtub, and the surface is ready to anodizing.
Further under the influence of electric current there is a cultivation of a regular anode film 15-20 microns thick. Thus the film grows not only on a surface, but also inside. At the expense of it durability of a covering and corrosion protection of a surface is reached.
The grown-up anode film has porous structure. Passing through the consolidation bathtub filled with hot water, a time is closed, and the film becomes firm.
If it is necessary to create a colored anode film, before a consolidation bathroom the profile passes through a coloring bathtub where the porous anode film gets color.

Proceeding from our technological capabilities, we are ready to offer the following types of the anodized profile:
• a profile with a sheeting;
• a profile with a decorative covering.

Protective anodizing is made in a case when only protection against corrosion without presentation of esthetic properties to a ready profile is important.
If besides protective anticorrosive properties are important also esthetic properties of a profile, then it is necessary to carry out decorative anodizing.
 

Depending on requirements to final quality of a surface of a profile decorative anodizing can be made:
• without preliminary machining;
• with preliminary machining.

When carrying out anodizing without preliminary machining esthetic requirements to quality of a surface are reached in the chemical ways within technological process. Preliminary machining reaches special effects on a profile surface.

In addition decorative anodizing is subdivided in the flowers:
• anodizing colourless, in natural color of aluminum colourless ("opaque silver");
• anodizing at "light gold" color;
• anodizing at "dark gold" color.

If it is necessary to create a colored anode film, before a consolidation bathroom the profile passes through a coloring bathtub where the porous anode film gets color.
